I saw this chassis up close at the Pleasanton Good-guys show last year and it is awe inspiring. I spent way to much time talking to the Ironworks guys while I drooled all over it, and they were really proud of their work, as they should be!!:hail: :hail: :hail:

I'm blown away with the fabrication that is taking place to get it into the car around that amazing Corvette chassis. The BEST !!

I think about this car every time I work on my neighbor's 66 Nova, and his car is a bone stocker, that someone stuffed a 400 small block into, 3" exhaust thru glass-packs, mono springs, drum brakes all around, 3-speed manual, and dinky "pizza cutter" tires on 14" center lines.

This Ironworks car is the complete opposite of that car. I can only imagine what it will be like to drive this modern rendition of a classic. Unbelievable work!!

Time for some kind of an update.

The hood is nearly complete. Lots of welding and metal finishing.

Really rough mock up of the the new tail panel or old trunk lid. The trunk has been modified to open like a Camaro. We leaned the tail panel forward to give the car a much more high speed look. We are working on the transition form the side of the taillights up to the upper trunk gap.

Lots more details to go, but I'm liking the direction so far.

Yeap we copied you but just leaned it forward. Your car was way easier.

But I like the lean on the tail panel! The tail lights allow for it to happen.
