I'd never seen this thread before. Never even heard someone say nomaro outside of my shop.. but i'm building one.:innocent: VERY DIFFERENT one.. but a nomaro none the less. 1970 camaro rear, 69 camaro grill and valance, on to a nova. We're done with major fab work. Sorry i don't have better pictures but let me show you where we are at with our nomaro... which retains more traits of the nova and doesn't just look like a wanna be camaro (sorry, with the header panel you did it looks too much like a camaro.

Front, mostly done: http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d6...03659690_o.jpg
Rear.. sorta done: http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d6...86037303_o.jpg
And we're cutting in paint now.. major fabrication is done.. we're cutting things in so here's an idea of what color will look like:

So just to let you know there is another nomaro out there!

Sorry it has been awhile, work gets busy this time of year.

Here is a few shots of the Nomaro Quarter Extension that was made to continue the body line to the rear of the car.

Enjoy. Ed

Glad to see some progress on this.

Well a little more work on the Nomaro project this past week. The quarter is all one piece now and ready to install. We had to add to the front and back of the 69 Camaro quarter to make it fit the Nova lenght. As you can see we also had to install a Camaro inner fender as the Nova one was lower than the Camaro on the outside edge.

Here is the Quarter on the car with it lined up to the door.

You can see how we were able to leave the rear section of the Nova and make the body line work with the Camaro.

Here you can see the little piece we added to the rear window area to make it line up with the door edge as the door on the Nova is just slightly shorter. This piece added to the window area will just cover the glass by about 1/2 inch. Much less work than sectioning the door...

Here is a look to see one side together with the front end and the door lined up. Starting to look like the car in the rendition...

Now we can work the other side and then off to body work and paint.

Wouldn't it have been easier to just put a Nova Roof on a Camaro?

I'm not 100% sold but I'm happy to see you going outside the box, Ed! The rendering is pretty cool.

Blake, With the front end bolting right on the Nova and the door-window frames needed to be there and post or it would look like a Camaro we figured this was the best way. Not sure but this is the way we went..

I have all the Speedtech Suspension parts all ready for install and the LT4 engine.
