I was trying to be "respectful" of his one off wheels and not "flaunt" my blatant copying..... er I mean - tribute.

I had looked at Toms car at Brizio's during construction and kinda just shrugged my shoulders in a "okay - another nice little '32" - ho hum kinda way.... then when it was outside parked next to other '32's that had driven down with Brizio to the LA Roadsters show -- THAT is when I saw how low it was -- how clean it was - the super nice 8 stacks - and the very different Chavers interior. Then I fell in love with it! :hail: If you just glance - you miss all the details!

It's cool to see the look that your going for, and then also on this site, Bret's Ridetech coupe, two '33's opposite ends of the spectrum.

Bout time you built something cool..LOL. Those are great looking cars, Love the hi boy look also. Brizio has been a top notch builder for a long time good choice, One of the best in the Business

Bret drives that car really well -- and of course it's a "track car".... I just want to be able to get to the grocery store and back. :rolleyes:

Truth be told - if the '32 had a drop top and windows -- I wouldn't be building this one.... but I like driving the little '32 so much - I want something I can actually go somewhere in.

Thanks buddy! You know Sid is his boy or it'd be coming to you. I just have to get him to do something other than 2" tuck and roll.... and if you look at the Tom Gloy car -- I know he can do something for me that I'll be happy with.

By the way -- have you used MB Tex? They did a 56 in MB Tex and it seemed really nice to me and is cleanable etc... just talking out loud here.

You know if you just spent time off the computer and went out in the shop you could build your own car!:P how are you going to learn to use the tools you have if you bring it somewere else? well you picked a sexy body to build ! can't wait to see how this turns out!:D

I've spent the last 30 some years restoring or building cars...and the last 40 messing with them in some form or another. My kids are grown and gone - my wife has now retired for the second time. I figure I have a good 10+ years to get 'er all in before stage 5 settles in.

Oh -- and I just swapped the Nomad to my buddies garage so I could bring his '56 BelAir in the shed for a few tweaks and mods... and a motor swap (a new 496). So how could I have time for MY cars when I'm working on someone else's! Isn't that what a guy is supposed to do - pay someone to work on his car so he has some free time to work on someone else's?
