Very nice work. I love the cell box.

The fittings on the regulator are crossed. The feed is the larger outer port. Learned that the hard way.

You are correct sir, I'll have to bust on him for that :poke: , ha ha. There are some pics on the web that show it reversed, he may have looked it up and found one of those....he's a ford guy and primarily builds drag race stuff, he did not like the idea of that regulator to start with :shakehead: . Hey, they work fine for our little 600-700 horse engines!! Thanks again for the good eye!

No problem Jeff,
That picture you mentioned popped a bunch of guys. A few even replaced fuel pumps and PCM's trying to find out why they didn't have fuel at the rail.

I love using those regulators, cheap, compact and easy to mount.

My buddy Matt supplied the clips, he really likes to use them...they are actually really nice and I will use them on my other projects for sure. I will get the name of the manufacturer and a source for you.

When Projects Sit Too Long!!!

Went up to my new shop building this weekend to drop off a bunch of stuff from my current garage (doing the moving thing) and saw that my 72 Corvette coupe was sitting a little low in the front...I mean like on the ground low. I saw the front right tire was flat and thought, dang it has a leak. Leak!!, that's an understatement, it had a hole about 2" across blown slam out of it!! This car has been sitting around for 20+ plus years on the same tires and they are dry rotted pretty good I guess. As I went around to the left side it got even better, the entire tire delaminated and had blown all apart.

That might be a clue to get around to actually do something with the car!!

Weird both blew out on their own.

More importantly, that '64 needs some love! :superhack: + :weld: + :morepower = :bigun2:

Please excuse a few stupid questions from an Aussie petrol head. Can you tell me more about that motor? Is it a crate racing engine based on some ome? And what is the type of racing you're aiming this beautiful project at? Any chance of some pics of that competition scene? Yes I know that's four questions :) I'm loving the colour, stance & workmanship of this beast. And lastly yes isn't it awful how life constantly gets in the way of the projects we'd all rather be building & putting our time & $$$ into. Where do I complain about this?
