If you come to a tree (or DBasher), turn!
The point of the loose entry with the road race bikes is interesting, in that many don't do much, if anything, with rear brakes. On an opposite note, my go-kart racing experience at Nola Motorsports park two weeks ago showed that only having rear brakes can definitely loosen up the corner entry experience. The look, upon corner entry, is quite similar between the two vehicles. In one case, we have pretty much no weight on the rear end (bike), and in the other, we have nearly all the weight on the rear (kart), and in both cases, we have sliding rear wheels (and stuck fronts). Freakin' gravity . . . |

I figured you were dumbing it down for me, which I appreciate. :sieg:
If I'm reading the rules right..it looks like suspension is pretty wide open as long as the frame isn't modified and the upper rear shock mounting point is retained. "Control arm mounting points are unrestricted" Nice! And a maximum tire of 275 as long as you don't exceed the track width...hmm. Looking forward to another Sutton Mustang makeover. |

You don't brake a go-kart in to a corner -- you downshift and accelerate! |
