Tommy is a machine when it comes to perfect exhaust and other welding across all types of metal.

Can't wait to see/hear this thing in person... when do you potentially think you'll be in the body shop and when do you hope to have it roadworthy? Spring 2019 for bodywork and driving anytime 2019?

I also jumped on Facebook to look at his stuff and I am blown away.

You all need to go check out his exhausts. His welds are awesome.

I hoping to have this car wrapped up by late spring. It’s basically ready to start, all my plumbing and electrical is 95% done. I will most likely get it running when I get it back from Tommy. The shop that’s painting it is pretty busy so hopefully I can get it in there in the next month or so. Once it’s done it’ll be great to meet up with everyone.

Awesome! I'm starting to entertain looking into potential places for a nice repaint job, for when I'm ready to commit to winter bodywork in 2-3 years time. I'll be interested to see who you go with and the resulting quality of work.. since your car is such crazy good quality so far!

Cheers,
Joe

Joe, thanks for the compliments. Im definitely no expert but I do enjoy working and challenging myself with these projects. It also doesn’t help being on this fourm and seeing all these amazing projects coming together, incuding yours. Looks like I’m going to be getting Travis, from Sharp Touch Restorations, to finish my car.

Welcome Tommy! The pipes look great. Why two x's though? I haven't seen that done before.

Ive always wanted to do it i guess and ive seen it done here and there. Back in the day ford offered a double x pipe exhaust upgrade for a 01 cobra. Its supposed to make a different sound and im tired of hearing the same ls motor sound. i figured id see what some nice borla mufflers with a dual x pipe will sound like.

I've heard a lot of good things about Travis and his work. After seeing your post about Tommy I gave him a call about doing the exhaust on my 69.I really liked what I saw on his web site.Have you decided on a color yet or did I miss that part?
