I really wanted to do something different for the fuel tank. With the help of Tim@Gap Racing we came up with a tank design that dropped in from the top and replaced the trunk floor. Looks awesome and I wanted to do that with my car.

Years ago Rad Rides put an early Mustang tank in the Notorious Nova. Looking at your pics makes me regret not doing it in my car.

Thank you fir sharing the pictures and for making me re-think my fuel tank set up.

I should also mention I love this build.

Got the steering shaft mocked up today. I’ll end up welding the center in to get rid of the set screws. I’ll have to pull column to get it in and out but that’s not a big deal.

Decided on a diff route for the intake. Got a set of billet valves covers coming to
match. They will all be coated to match the wheels.

Sweet...I see that's Frankenstein intake. He makes some good stuff and is local here to me just outside of Dallas.

What a gorgeous piece. It's going to look great coated.
