Unfortunately, the old crossram lived up to it's legend of not being very tuneable. My limited carb tuning knowledge wasn't good enough to get it to run good enough to keep it. I'm sure with some machine work to create a shared plenum area with crossover tubes, It might have been better. I opted to go back to simplicity with the AirGap intake and 670 Avenger

I really didn't like the fuel filler being inside the trunk so I broke out the hole saw and moved it. There's a very good chance this will get recessed the next time I take the body off and can get to the underside.

Didn't like the supplied exhaust from Factory Five so I made my own. Used Borla Pro XS, some 2.5" over the axle pipes and finished off with Stainless Works tips

Back to looking like a Hot Rod again. Time to start driving it while slowly doing body work

Nothing much to update, just a little cooling issue i started noticing, it gets hot at cruising speeds on the highway or just long periods of constant 60+ mph, gets up to the 200ish range. At 70 & 80 it starts creeping up in to the 210 range. Around town, stop and go traffic, it stays in the 180-190 range.
Runninga 160 t-stat, Northern Radiator PWM fan controller with 160 sensor, Spal 16" brushed puller fan, 2024 CFM 20.5 amp.
My thoughts are that the fan shroud was restricting airflow at highway speeds but around town, the electric fan and shroud did it's job just fine.
Here's the shroud and fan combo

I removed the shroud, made fan mount brackets, relocated teh PMW and so far so good. I'll need to do some highway cruising next week to see if we helped the cooling situation. I did do a 20 mile run, some cruising (couldn't go more than 65mph) and some stop & go, even sat in a small line at McDonalds drive thru.. I'm, encouraged... Never went over 180, not even sure it actually hit 180.
