Jeff here, originally from Detroit. Grew up street racing there in the 80s. Ok- I didn't grow up, I just got older. Worked at Holbrook, Roush (before his NASCAR days), McClaren doing whatever to learn. Pissed away my scholarship at Michigan, so I joined the Navy. Worked on the Small Boat units for 12 yrs, now I fly P-3C submarine hunter / surveillance aircraft (mostly surveillance these days). Been doing that for 18+yrs now, been all around, done lots-o stuff. Getting ready to retire in 2010/2011. Going back across the pond in Jan, for yet another extended stay. My 68 Firebird might make Power Tour 08/09 if I don't have to do another back-to-back-to-back-to-back deployment. This schitt is getting old!

Been involved in the aftermarket my whole life; my family is employed by a few co's, or supplies them. My little bro has my retirement job- he's a suspension guy for the factory Corvette team (Pratt & Miller).

Now living in Jacksonville, Fl, with a beautiful wife of 15 years, two kids 13/14, and too many damn projects.

It is fun at times but it's a governmet contract so there is a lot of BS, it's really neat to see the stuff we put in the Crew Module in use on TV, and in IMAX movies, ever get a chance to go to Spaceport USA, go for it,

You probly have told me before. I'm just crazy. Yeah I have been wanting to go down to Spaceport USA.

Originally from Oshkosh, WI. I have been in the Navy now for almost 9 years as an Information Systems Technician (IT). Currently stationed in Naples, Italy. I am married (to a woman) and have no kids, which is fine for now--that's more money that I can spend on my car! :unibrow:

I'm Martin, just turned 37 last week and I live in a small village called Voorhout, which is in The Netherlands.

The great land of windmills, tulips and $7.00 a gallon fuel

I am married (almost 10 years now) and have two small children. The oldest is a boy of almost 6 years old and the younger is a girl, 2.5 years old.

I work as an Instrument Designer for a large engineering office in the (petro) chemical business.

We stack chuck poly in a quartz crucible (bowl) and melt it down, then after its melted we lower a seed into the melt. The we slowly pull a crystal rod out of the melt. Later its cut up into slices and we sell the slices to other companys. We sell our waffers to companys like Intel.

Hi guys! My name is Josh and I'm a Sr. Mechanical Engineer for Apple Computer, Inc. I design portable computers like the iBook, PowerBook, and MacBook. I just got married about a year and half ago to a great woman. I've been excited about hot rods since I was a kid and have been restoring Chevelles and Camaros with my Dad since high school. I have no projects currently, but I'm working on the design / build planning of my ultimate project car, a '65 Chevelle. I look forward to getting more involved in the forums and picking the brains of some of the talented fabricators on this site.

Cheers!

Josh, that must be an awesome job! Thanks for designing this MacBook Pro I am using, it is an amazing computer. I am a mechanical engineer in Tucson, I work for Raytheon Missile systems, which is also a pretty exciting job. What solid modeling tools do they use at Apple?
