Wow, now I am even more pissed about missing PT this year. Dammit.

Look awesome, very OE-ish, which is just fine by me. Good work guys.

Looks similar to an LS1 4th gen setup.

Yes. Please re-post. Links are broken or missing.:(

awr68 03-07-2009 01:15 PM

I can see them, can you guys see them now?

waynieZ 03-07-2009 01:49 PM

No pictures here

JamesJ 03-07-2009 01:56 PM

The pics are fine, that account has hit its limit, give it some time and they will be up again, you all are like kids in a candy store....

XcYZ 03-07-2009 02:08 PM

I fixed them, you can see them now. Charley wanted one of them removed anyways.

buickfunnycar.com 03-07-2009 03:35 PM

Looks awesome Charlie, you must be very proud.

clill 03-07-2009 06:57 PM

Those are crappy pics. The car came out killer. All the ZR1 pieces look like they belong there and the color is perfect. I'm stuck in Denver airport or I would post better pics.

XcYZ 03-08-2009 06:41 AM

Mark sent more pics.

I think they're still a couple weeks out from being finished. His latest Camaro X works great, best sorted riding and handling first gen I've ever driven. I would expect this to be the same. Of course I'll need to take it for a spin to verify...................

Congrats Mark and Charley, with special thanks to Reiters.

Where can I get one of those hood latches, or is that custom one off

Thanks

- Mike

clill 03-08-2009 12:04 PM

The latch is a VW Audi piece.

awr68 03-08-2009 12:09 PM

Is the roll bar in the way of easily using the parking brake? Need more interior and trunk pics!

89 RS 03-08-2009 12:41 PM

Congrats on the award guys...

Damn True 03-09-2009 01:40 PM

Mark,

Is that intake tube sourced from a GM vehicle?

Is the airflow sensor sandwiched between it and the throttle body?

clill 03-09-2009 01:49 PM

Intake tube is just aluminum tubing with the sensor added.

The car turned out nice.

Are the front wheel tubs stock or modified?

clill 03-09-2009 04:18 PM

Inner fenders have been modified to close up the area around the upper control arms. Just looks alot cleaner and Reiters is pretty good with metal.

Payton King 03-09-2009 06:08 PM

great car!

I like it a lot. What did you use for pedal covers...corvette stuff?

Tom.A 03-09-2009 11:42 PM

Outstanding job! Everything just flows great. It's really great to see such a high-tech equipped car without all the bling and body mods. I am sure buying a ZR1 would have been cheaper but it would not be nearly as cool. :hail:
