The word on the street is that John is going to start wearing a nascar style drivers suit, so he can properly display all the sponsors as he travel to columbus this weekend. Just don't ask him how the car was running.

I will see what I can do with some pics for the big cheese, today. The trans tunnel is looking Sick.

I hope John dosen't get to hot wearing his driving suit all weekend in Columbus with the 'your name here' velcro patches everywhere.
I did hear that he has his own table set up every day from 1 to 3 to sign autographs and take photos with his fans.
The evenings are reserved for sponsor meetings.
I hope the extra body guards he's bringing will be enough to hold back the stampeding fans. Extra Sharpie pens and 8x10 for everyone.

Color ????

Well I noticed John is back from the show - so that must mean he has selected a color for this wicked ride ???? Rodger wouldn't have let him on the plane without making that difficult choice .... would you ?

It's kinda like picking out your favorite german beer.... there are a couple that you think suck - but you want all the rest of them.

Unfortunately the selection timer has run out on you - and the default color is hot pink. I don't think we saw a hot pink Nova did we ? (might be a reason for that - not sure :wow: )

Good luck !

4 you can see them in the pic. 1 top back, 1 top tapered front section, 2 sides. We did lot of work on the pullmax and eckold and english wheel. It is pretty complex

ya your right now i see it. I was going to guess four or five. Very nicve work did brycen(spelling) do that?

FaBrycation 07-22-2007 10:35 AM

yeah i did the tunnel, it was alot of work.

L8ONBRAKE 07-22-2007 12:20 PM

I know everyone sometimes makes too much of a big deal about weight. I remember a recent thread where someone was asking how much the lead filler weighed on a subframe

However I can't help but wonder how much all that steel weighs? Is it comparable to the stock stamped sheetmetal and frame? Or are we talking an extra few hundred pounds? Don't get me wrong, most of us add an extra 100 pounds in dynamat alone. All that steel though must add up?

BTW Awesome car of course, league of its own

FaBrycation 07-22-2007 04:09 PM

all the steel does add more if you look at just that. but when you consider the all aluminum LS7 and drivetrain compared to the stock cast iron. and the fact that we cut off about 5 inches from the sides and 2 1/2inches from the middle of the firewall. if i had to guess i would say it probably evens out or close to it.
