Greg, this truck is turning out fantastic. I love it!

Truck is looking sweet and moving along nicely...but when a person is your age, you do not have time to savor the long and drawn out build like mine.

Did you see any colors at the big show that tickled your fancy?

About 100% sure we're going to use the Ring Brothers Chevelle tan.... Talked to Mike and Jim and they said they'd be happy to have me copy them... and they'd share the paint code.

Also found the interior leather color which would work really well with the tan.

Chocolate Lab Brown or mauve?

Thinking of using the same Brown leather that Sid Chavers did in the Pinkee's built Federale Coupe.

Don't forget the Mexican blanket on the back side. BTW, I love that car.

I just saw a picture of that car tonight and was thinking how cool it is, That is a color that if you showed it to somebody and told them your painting a car that color they would shake there head,, but dam it looks good when it on a vehicle,,

I am helping a friend put a motor in a 39 chev and he is 70,, I know understand why he is so impatient!

Federale is cool. Without seeing the leather and paint swatches I visualize it working nicely......maybe a little darker/more brown/less red tint depending on the paint shade and contrast to your eye. :thumbsup:

It's ALL dark caramel brown - no red at all.

Cool - Pics on Pinkees website and possibly my monitor made it look like it had a cinder tint to it.

Pinkee's actually sent me an email saying that my project was being neglected due to my buddy - Bruce Levin - project being in rush mode suddenly. They asked if that was okay and I said sure. It won't be neglected for very long. That's the difference between a good honest shop and a BS shop... these guys (Eric) actually notified me WHY. I didn't have to ask.
