I never considered a brown vehicle before I saw this color on one of these GM/Saab 9X-7’s…seemed like a brown/pewter mix.

Back to colors, Alfa Romeo has a brown for their Stelvia SUV. Someone at my work has one. It might be darker than you're wanting but it's a nice shade of brown in my opinion. Similar to the GTO above.

Jody, check out WA441B GM. It’s called Pepperdust Metallic. It’s a medium brown that I wouldn’t hesitate to put on my own Chevelle. I’m jealous of this brown Chevelle stuff. If I could only go back….

Thanks Scott!

Love this Audi teak brown. Definitely darker than what I was planning on, but would be beautiful in the sun with the black SS stripes.

Beautiful color, Jody!!! It's different... In a good way! I know lighting plays a huge part in these pics but this was cool also. Attachment 77591https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...673856983e.jpgAttachment 77592

Would you want black stripes or something more subtle like a gold or light bronze ghost stripes? I would think the result would be similar to the carbon weave in the Pagani.

Just found a color available on 72 Chevelles. I'm wondering if this was what he had, looks a lot like what I remember. It's been almost 50 years since I drove it, so my memory is definitely not perfect. Paint code 57 Golden Brown. It would be a safe choice as it's a factory color and looks good in all light.
Doesn't look as good as the modern colors, just need to find one in person to check out. Or get Jim to do some spray outs for me lol. |
I think that's your color. GM is helping you make the decision.
|
Cool color.
|
I'm not feeling that color. Factory resto, sure, but on a modern build, not so much.

Thanks guys. Jim did some spray outs for me, so that will help me make the decision.

Almost a shade of brown.
In the same vein as the Greg Weld grey imho… https://i.postimg.cc/RFB25YQt/787565...221602-C74.jpg |
Here's another brown to consider, maybe https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2001-bmw-740il-74/

Great color Skip!

I'm pretty sure that Porsche is a rose/pink color. They had a color in that era that was gorgeous and could look brown in the shade. Could just be my monitor this time though, lol.
