Luckily I had a nice one in stock at home. I think it is a repo, but it fits nice. We are taking the car to Boris later in July to get some touch up painting done. He said he can match the patina. Borris is a wizard at faux patina. Vastine in TX is also good.

Hobbs Camaro (Old Drag Car)

One of the parts I have used on 69 Camaros since 1993. 1990-1993 Caprice fuel/license plate frame. It flips down like a 69 Camaro one, excepts it toggles over and stays in a 90 degree angle while you are filling. I used to get them out of junk yards for $3. Now on EBay they are $35. |

When you build a lot of Camaros you get to regift parts. I found this driveshaft in my atic. Matt and I took a few minutes to sort out where it came from. When we swapped the engine and sub frame in Jackass the engine was moved rearward requiring a new driveshaft. So this is to old driveshaft out of Jackass 1.0 from around 2007. Look honey I’m saving money….lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Haven't had a '94-6 B-body in a few years but the plate bracket ought to be the same for those years as well. |
Hey Mark,
I was curious if you thought the C6 Z06 brakes would clear the Forgeline OE wheels front and rear. |
Quote:
Yes Forgeline can build them to fit the 6 piston C6 Z06 brakes. You will need to go to a thinner outer wheel half. I did the base slider C6 brakes to get a more “stock” look. I pulled the hub cab back as far as I could with the widest outer wheel half I could do. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

That stance just fff'n works!
At first glance I thought there may be a seat heater switch in the ashtray:D |
Now paint it white.

I would say blue and or add red lines on the tires or rims. Not sure how it's done nowadays. In general, something to break up the black. Car looks killer either way.
|
Blue and patinaed like the rest?
|
Ohhhh Borris!

The decals on the A/C compressor are a nice touch:)

I did not think about it. I guess the Dakota Digital stuff you can do it either way. That is just how Matt put it together. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Just when you think you have seen it all when it comes to a 69 Camaro. You once again create a car so simple and unassuming that you have to stop to take it all in.
Can't wait to see more updates. Quote:

Thanks! Every Camaro I have built has a little different personality. This one is off the normal recipe. I’ve never had a Camaro with history. I’m happy how it is coming along. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...d92e8b6091.jpg I’m an attempt to make this car quite and a great cruiser, I’m putting 2018 Corvette Z06 Catalytic converters on it. They are high flow and validated for a 650 HP engine. They should work great behind my 500 HP LS7. It should also knock a bunch of noise out of it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Clean rims
I think once the car gets driven a little and the rims aren't so clean it will look great... I like the black.
