Very nice. Which setup/ratios did you get, and where did you end up purchasing?

Yea relieved I grabbed another of the last big ticket items. :ups: It is an 11009. JMPO but the WR version is useless for a big hp motor.:shakehead:

I bought the transmission from a guy in Texas. A guy stopped paying his bill at a shop so the parts went up for sale. The transmission had been installed but not driven. So for $2500 I got it shipped to my door with a billet yoke a shift handle and the reveres and speedo wiring.:knokwood:

Now a guy I count as a friend had a little problem with a motor he bought that turned out to be just a bunch of parts in need of remachining and reassembly so I was pretty nervous about maybe screwing myself in search of a "good deal" :_paranoid

Then UPS calls and tells me they won't deliver it and I have to pick it up.:(

Turns out they say they shouldn't have picked it up because it wasn't packaged right. Oh crap! I go to get it and see this.

Are you kidding me. I spent a good 20 min looking it over real hard. Not a real mark anywhere on it. Fresh and clean looking with a correct tag. Turned over smoothly so it followed me home.

Tonight I drained the oil and it was full and clean. Shifts through all the gears and turns over like butter. I think I can stop worrying about it now :snapout: I think I scored a good deal.

Now your last post on your thread really says it all. Building one of these is a long journey. There is no really cheap way out but if you want to lay your hands on the build then it can really drag out. If you are paying for all the work to be done then you better have cubic $$ :G-Dub:

Never ceases to amaze me 700 ft/lbs can burn rubber due to those teeny tiny splines on the input shaft, yet we worry about billet yokes! Nice score Roberto

HEY quit complaining.... you got a free tie down and some fire wood didn't ya!!

Wow cannot believe someone would ship it like that. You now have a Trans laying on your floor :hello:
