Progress is good! Griggs Racing has done quite well with that setup...
I'll hope to see this car on the track this year, when I momentarily crawl out from under my rock... |

Not going to shake that loose anytime soon

I figure that would be the only way it would see a track this year. Greg liked iracing so much he went and got himself a Miata. |

Don't get me started on that Miata deal.... :lostmarbles: |
Cortex is working on a few things right now but nothing was really picture worthy. Rear end is getting provisions for the diff cooler I picked up at Roush and it is being sent out for powdercoating.
Headers are cut and waiting for LCA's to be installed so some tubing cab be bought to bridge the gap of 2-3" that each primary needs. Probably will get those pieces from SPD in Sac. Crick (fab guy) has started making the remaining transitions needed for the 5" x 2" flat bottom exhaust to connect to the 3.5" collectors at front and the 90*'s at the rear. They have modified my LCA's for about 3" of back side clearance for the headers which they will be fitting next. Six or seven YEARS and untold 1000's of dollars and that's all you got??

Nice that some very noteworthy people also adhere to the relaxed pace philosophy... of course sometimes there's pushback. |
That's it! I'm going straight to CorteX this week to see if this thing is moving along or not. I'm certain that within an hour of showing up - the car will be sitting outside the shop and I'll have been thrown out with it. And with this build - that would be considered "progress".

Oh and I like you remembered to capitalize the X in CorteX.... good on you. |

My old Porsche is for sale again in and a prospective buyer PM'ed me asking some questions. I looked at the for sale ad and check out what is playing on the radio. That's gotta mean good things are in my future. Yeah, that's it.

Hopefully we will be on track soon and on to more predictable things like buttoning up sheetmetal and finishing some mechanical and plumbing. Quote:
