Thanks Stuart! I had no idea it would be so much work just to please "His Highness".... I want to make certain that he finds nothing missing that I should have had.

BTW -- All those boxes stacked by the stairs -- those are cases of wine being taken to SV house for the Mrs. Apparently she intends to get plowed (not that kind) every afternoon....

Greg its a good thing its not "that kind" you'd be to week to drive any of the cars! The rig looks beautiful and very comfortable . That awning will definitely be worth every penny. Do they make a bug screen you can attach?

Since we're building -- and moving permanently -- to Sun Valley, Idaho... and plans are to have a shop under the house that can take "the rig" in completely. I thought that maybe it would be "prudent" to see if I could get said rig up the street and turn around in the cul d sac! So thought I might leave the trailer at the bottom of the hill and try it first with just the tractor. I had to do a three point turn with the tractor.... So now I'll have to plan on "expanding" the cul d sac.... or calling my brother in law Rudy... and buy a fork lift. That way I could just drop the trailer - and pick it up on the hitch with the fork lift and move it around. One way or the other -- it's doable.

So brought over a regular car to leave here ----- and my '32 because it's SUPPOSED to get nice beginning tomorrow.

I had emailed and asked the Sun Valley Corp folks where they might let me park the rig for a few day - since the condo has no place for it.... and they nicely gave me permission to put it in the lot at the Dollar Ski area parking lot --- which is conveniently located across the street from the condo! That works!!

Then I went up to the lot..... so here's some shots of the POS in the cul d sac that I was absolutely certain would be super easy to just do a big azz u turn in and back straight into the garage!

The lot is 1.6 acres -- and in these pics I'm standing at one corner (and from here the lot line runs away from me straight down to the cul d sac -- the next white "stake" (to the left in this pic) is another corner -- and if you follow on around to the right in this pic -- you'll find the other corner stake -- from that stake it makes a 90 and runs straight down to the middle of the cul d sac (about where the truck is). The lot is a big rectangle -- with one corner eaten by the cul d sac. Hard to picture in this photo I know!

And the view -- and size of the lot -- and location -- is why we bought it.

Beautiful area Greg. That's going to be awesome!

Wondered where you've been. So you were absolutely certain you could do a u-turn?

ironworks 06-25-2013 03:19 PM

Can you make a road around the property that you could circle around the house to turn the POS around and then back it into the garage so you don't have to turn around in the street. Or unhook and back up the driveway with a forklift. That would be quite some forklift.

So head right up the street pull in your drive way circle the house and pull right back out on the street going the other direction so you can back into your garage.

COMPRENDE????

Why is called Sun Valley? Looks cloudy to me. I don't think we have a cloud in the sky here.
