If you've got video of the last session with the Panoz and Porsche I'd love to see it from your view, that was some good racing! Dan |
Greg, is the rear window in the mustang lexan? In the photo above, it looks like the top of the window is pulling down? Could be just an illusion...
Car looks great, and I'm glad you chose to work with Ron. Enjoy! |
Yes it is a R model rear window.

Rob is correct. They are a composite leaf spring I had made in a specific spring rate for this package. The advantages are significantly lighter weight & less harmonics. But I only recommend them if you're running a panhard bar or watts link with them, like we were here, so they don't see much twisting forces. |

Thanks Charlie! The only thing I tuned on Saturday was tire pressure & brake bias. The car was neutral off the trailer. We'll dial some more grip in the front or rear when we find the limits. While we weren't at the limits in these first sessions, it was fun to see Greg passing many of the cars & drivers that were previously faster than him. |

It was fun hanging with you Saturday. Camaro looked good on track. Greg told me his goal was to have the Mustang feel 25% like the Lotus & we achieved 75% ... which was fun to hear. Of course I would have gladly drove back to Sac, got parts & fixed the pinion seal problem, but he'd only get a session or two. So Greg made the call to do it later & drove the Lotus Sunday. |
Hey Greg, it was a fun project & a rewarding track day. Thanks for the opportunity to make your car handle, steer & brake better.
