looks fantastic! Feels great to have the cab back on doesn't it? Now, how is the engine and transmission just balancing on the oil pan? Is the weight really that even or did you photochop the pics?

yep t56 is light, plus I'm not too worried about that motor it's just my spare 4.8L I'm not using. So it's just balancing, and yes it feels AWESOME to have it back on.

"If" I ever get a chance, I should stop by and check it out.
It's nice to see the cab sitting on the frame as well.

its called a satchel link.. the reason to do this instead of the GM-usual k link konfiguration is that it fixes the rollcenter in relation to teh center of gravity as the suspension moves thru its travel.. and at a lower point than the k-link. , the rollcenter of both the satchell and k link is at the intersection of the angled bars.. so with the k link it moves up and down more than the body does

in short its better for handling, but more difficult to package as it needs a sturdy crossmember below driveshaft level...

Brand new, perfect condition bed...

Now all cut and section bed floor raised 5.5"

I didn't want to go more then 5.5" So to get the last >1" I'll section the bed crossmembers over the frame.

Cut the firewall and trans tunnel out to accommodate the motor, (body dropped 2", motor raised 1" and moved back 1.5"
