I guess we have similar taste!!:)
Thanks for the compliments guys.
Here are some more "blackberry pics"...lol.

Basically the pics from the update a couple posts ago.

When we were fitting the BRAND NEW (2 year old though, just never installed) Ricks twin A1000 fuel tank.... I would keep hearing something rattle around in there. When i opened it up to clean out the metal shavings and all.... i found a big ol chunk of aluminum :wow: lol.
Pretty random.

Also... the car is freshly primed. As in just a couple hours ago. Here are a couple pics while it is drying. I really like the dark one because you can see the shadow and how well the lines came out. Yes.. i know.. hard to tell with the blackberry.... lol.

Intercooler is done.

The Marquez mock up is coming along nicely. We should be finished with fitting in the next day or two.... then it will be getting sewed up.

thanks again for the compliments.

Very nice.
Dash is looking good too. Very unique.

we rolled the car outside for a bit.... got some better pics for you guys.
The radiator, core support, trim bezzle on the bumper, inner fenders, ect are all still "mock up" pieces... so they aren't "pretty" yet.

As much as I can appreciate all the work put into the body mods on this car, its a bit too Veilside for a muscle car.

Progress looks great though. Hopefully this cars actually driven unlike Rob's

She'll get driven quite a bit. Ken Block is going to do a Gynkhana style video with it.... also it will be on Power tour and all sorts of cool events. I also drive my cars. There will be MANY youtube videos...lol.

Robs car actually got driven quite a bit too. Just not by him. His partner in Rogue Status drove it for 6 months or so. They took it on Bullrun and a few other events. Actually.. its been beaten on pretty hard.

Hopefully this blocking process won't take too much time. We are hoping to have some color on her by the end of the week..... dang... thats in two days!! I better get back to work.

Good to hear its actually getting a work out by someone. It made me laugh when I found out he was scared of it. Some people just aren't down with the horsepower bug.

Once its complete if you find yourself out here in LA send me a PM and we'll get a track event organized where we can go beat on them out at Buttonwillow or Streets of Willow.

Kens going to have his handful trying to drive a RWD high horsepower first gen like an AWD subie

It can be done but he better get a lot of practice in

Thanks man....
I can see it a bit...lol.

After we work on a couple spots.... the car gets completely taken back apart. All the suspension is getting powder coated. The suede and leather will be here tomorrow.... so the interior will be getting wrapped over the next couple weeks. We just bought a double stitch sewing machine.... so we can do it here now.
Kinda killin me... but i guess i have to look at it like an investment. Cheaper than farming it out................... i guess. :_paranoid

Thanks again for the compliments.
