The Jackass Camaro is just so right. I have a question about the tubular cage/brace/downtube coming forward from the firewall. Just out from the firewall - the connection of sorts - is this so they are removable? Interesting setup. What sort of mechanism is that? Does the other (front) end have the same mechanism? [Edit] I studied the picture a little more. It looks like a bung welded to the end of the tubing, both ends, then one bolt through the top and another through the bottom. Is this correct? Who makes these things?

Yes it is a Bosch pump off a Cobalt SS Turbo or a CTS-V SC it is used on both.
