Cool thread, thx for showing us the whole build process.

Awesome to see a car go from start to finish in like 2-3 days

I could have learned alot from a thread like this years back when I started my project.

As usual, great build guys.
Keep us posted.

  That's looking awesome.

Is the headliner custom made? It would be cool to see what's involved in that process.

I have a really dumb question for you. Why build the center console out of metal? Durability?

And thanks for posting all the pics; they help me out with my project.

OK guys, I feel the need to jump back in this thread to clarify a couple things. I never meant for my post to sound like I was putting down the work being done or come across as someone that can do a better job, that's not the case. I asked the questions for the reason of wanting to get an answer... plain and simple. I began building my 57' Chevy many years back and have yet to finish it, and will begin my 69' Camaro soon. There are a few panels that I chose to "patch" as you guys did and there is a part of me that thinks I didn't do it the "best" way. I see a big name shop doing the same sort of thing I did and it makes me sort of rethink my decision... Maybe my car is done better built than I thought, I have just always viewed "patching" as the cheap and easy way out, not to say it is wrong, but not the 100% best way of repair. Guys, I am only expressing - MY - views, not saying that what I think is the final word in right or wrong, I am not an arrogant person. I appolagize if my post was taken the wrong way, I tried to make it clear I wasn't trying to question your ability or knowledge, only looking for reason. Best of luck finishing the car, it is looking pretty good (alot better than I could do myself)!

Jason no problem with you asking, sometimes it need a complete replace and sometimes you can just patch the panel if you do it right. Notice how we made our own metal pieces that follow and match the factory perfect that way there is no way to tell once fixed what was touched. our part will be better and stronger than the factory one. Once body worked out metal shapping not filling with bondo everything will be perfect
