I agree Rodger.. But is nice to have something that you can view & change in matter of hrs before you start the fab work on tubes.. I was not even going to attempt the design over the rear axle.. I just wanted to see how we were going to do the X-over box in the center.. Plus it is nice to print a component to scale & transfer it to metal & even guides you where to bend or break..

Buy the time you do that I'm already at the mufflers thinking about going over the rear end. :P

Clutch Master Cylinder & Firewall..

I happen to have this C6 Corvette pedal lying around & was looking @ the way the factory did the clutch master cylinder... So we dimensioned out the mounting base & machined a 1/8 plate to match the slip & locking of the master cylinder & made a custom -3 AN fitting for plumbing... nice & compact!!.. and can be replaced with a factory GM Corvette unit..

We finally got around to mounting the firewall plate & finished the transmission tunnel on the firewall..

We almost got the tunnel done on the interior ... We left it open on the rear because we got some Sparco seats on order & want to fit them up to the owner & make an arm rest instead of a console...

Water Pump..

We will be running a Stewart Warner water pump on the LS7.. We finally got our port tool.. We made our own custom water pump fittings.. drilled & tapped to seal on o-rings... When the water pump is on the motor we will make a custom pulley & thinking we might do something for the top water neck....

Also got some new custom A/C brackets we are doing for the Saden 7 compressor... & we are also working on the dry sump..

Dry Sump Tank

We just finished fabricating a sheet metal mock up of the dry sump oil tank we are making... Rodger from Ironworks found the perfect spot to mount these tanks...

Next steps is to get it in Soildworks & get the volume on the tank ... & get a design for the oil/air seperator pot.. fit the fender.. cut a hole on the top side.. & figure out a cap.. Plumbing... & the list goes on & on..
