Mark, Clint was joking about the fact that is an Elco really a truck or a Chevelle with and Elco back end.

Rodger

Gotcha. The old is a truck or a car debate.

Ok folks, here is how we win.

Using Fiefox, go to tools at the top of the page.
Choose "Page Info"
Then click "Permissions" at the top
Under "Set Cookies" uncheck the "default" box
Then choose "block"
Then go to the voting page
Vote for Rog
You will see the results pop up
Then refresh your browser
You will then be able to vote again and see your previous vote registered
Then repeat as many times as you have time for. I just did about 20+

Enjoy.
LOL

Does it really mean anything if you have to cheat? It reminds me of the time I played a best ball tournament and the other guys in my group cheated and we placed high. Whoo hoo... Clearly the El Camino guy is spending his whole life voting for himself.

I agree with you Todd. Rodger's truck has clearly been established as one of the finest of the last couple years. I don't really think this poll is about meaning something. At least to me. I don't want to speak for Rodger. This to me was more about figuring out how the guy was getting so many votes so quickly. I succeeded in that, so I am satisfied. Now if others would like to use this information to see if we can push to the top so be it. It is satisfying to know you have the information needed to win knowing that the poll essentially means nothing at this point since we know the other guy cheated to get there. shrug ;)

Right or wrong I don't know but if you don't cheat the internet 'vote' you'll never win. So get cheating, which is not really cheating it's winning.

I agree 100%. I could really care less about the actual award. I wanted to piss off the editors at Truckin. They ran my truck in a 12 part build series called how to Build a Cover Truck and then when it was all done decided to not run my truck on the cover. And lie to me about it. The real getter is that I was offered the cover, the table of contents and an 8 page feature in Truckin's biggest competitor if I bailed on Truckin, I turned it down to do the right thing and then they did what they did. Aren't magazine editors great...........:_paranoid :_paranoid

I think it is so funny that the votes for the elco climbed like 300 per hour earlier today for about 2 hours, and then it comes to a grinding halt of 1 every 2 hours after that. This morning it went pretty quickly across face book and my boys here on Lat-g have been hooking a brother up pretty good. And Yes I have voted a few times a day just to see what happens, but some poor guy with his pretty orange oil pan draggin on the ground in Las Vegas gets up everyday after working and alnight security job and racks up the votes for his Chevelle with a bed floor. And another fact that guy lives in Vegas and my truck has gotten more prizes in his front yard then I have ever laid my eyes on that car/truck before this vote came out.

HAHA I'm not really as arrogant as this rant sounds.

One more thing, could imagine if that kid woke up tomorrow and my vote tally was one million..... Hackers unite, man that would be funny. There is not way one million people would vote for a farm truck with no bed floor.

Thanks for the support guys.

Vegas69 12-22-2010 10:31 PM

Hey, I voted for you 3 or 4 times but this guy must have every tech nerd in Vegas on staff. Get his address and I'll go cut his internet connection.

bentfab 12-23-2010 08:48 AM

Voted again. :woot: I'll vote for a truck till the day I die
