I would like to tell all who contributed to this thread -- a hearty THANK YOU!

Without the knowledgeable input of folks here - I likely would have made a big mistake and ordered the wrong trailer. So I'm real serious here when I say Thanks!

Well.... and Charley selling me the Mustang made a difference as well - because that changes the use... and time away from home etc. But mostly it was my wife's Bondurant driving school experience and the fact that she LIKED IT and now understands why I like doing this stuff!!

I'm ordering a 24' IKON Toter home (they don't really offer these but will build it) on a Freightliner Cascadia chassis - with a 525 HP Cummins - and 13 speed ultra shift... All of it on air ride - including the front axle...and equipped with OnSpot chains and cold air package, spread axles, air brakes, full size rims and tires... (this is new for them and makes a better trailer).
Should be ready in time to make the Buttonwillow dates.:thumbsup: :woot:

With this setup I can haul 3 cars.... two upstairs and one on the floor. Figure this way I can toss the Mustang in -- one show car -- and one regular car (or a buddies car) and hit the road!

Since I mostly use "any excuse" to hit the road in the WINTER to get the hell our of here - I'd do the ONSPOT chain deployment system so I can cruise over Mt Shasta --- or go thru Utah (to get to AriDzona).

Hey! For 10 grand I'll put one of your 2" high "Deckel's" on it!

Glad to hear Gwen like the experience as that will make the next few years very enjoyable. I ride motorcycle track days with a husband and wife team they did 14 events last year! The wife is 120 lbs riding a Ducati 1198 and rides at B+/A- level............she flies and loves it. The downside is their tire expenses. :D

The two of you should have a blast! What car is Gwen going to end up with? :unibrow:
