No massive update today, haven't had much "loud time" with the air tools because my 1 year old needs to sleep so I have to do this in whatever free time I have... not fun.

Taking stuff off a little bit at a time, making sure to cut a little short. I don't have the mini-tubs here yet, so I can't mock it up before making my close out pieces for the frame.

Getting there! No turning back now... frame has been cut and the junk metal has been scrapped.

Like I said in the other thread, alot of stock tubs hitting the trash cans lately

Nice work Max, cant imagine doing that work with your 1 yr old trying to sleep through it. :D

Yea, it typically doesn't go so well... Thankfully I'm almost to the "quiet" part of this side, the welding.

People kept telling me it would take 40-80 hours to do this, so far I think i've got roughly 7 hours into it. It's no where near done for this side and I think I probably did at least 5 hours researching photos and videos.

We shall see :)

Props for doing all this on your own. I would be terrified to do that to my car. I wouldn't have a problem if my motor was spread all across the shop floor but metal work terrifies me! :omg:

The best part about doing metal work is that you can always add it back on :D

Motor is here!!

So far very impressed with this motor, looks great, wiring harness looks well prepped and it was crated well despite being hit with a forklift at FedEx! LOL

Man that must get you motivated, good luck with the one year old and free time  I had to put mine on hold for a couple of years because of my twins, but I wouldn't trade them for anything. Love what you are doing with this part 2 of your build Max.

Man that MAST motor looks great, all business!

That intake looks pretty tall, will it clear the hood?

I've been told it will clear with a cowl hood. :)
