I just read this from the start. Wow! What a cool build. From the wheels up, very very cool.

70rs- Thanks! |
Those wheels are gorgeous.
If a nice set of forgelines starts at $4k, can you tell us if those are less than double that price ? Just looking for a ballpark. I absolutely love billet recreations of classic wheels. |

Awesome, awesome effect those wheels create... :wow:

THx
and preston, no, more like triple plus some change but these are on the high end because of the diameters and simulated sidewall/painting/etc. Starting price on a simpler one-off would be much less. |

This reminds me why I am going with production wheels cuz I'm low budget. Well lower budget.:_paranoid As with everything else you've done so far,..... those wheels are perfect. |
Thanks! I would have considered a production wheel but thought anything else on this car would look out of place.
More shiny stuff! Before/after of new chrome and polished lenses. This is why this car will take me forever. Other than modifying just about everything on the car, the restoration work is a lot to do as well. http://imageshack.us/a/img443/9691/e...hamchrome0.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img267/6281/e...rougham383.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img534/5290/e...rougham384.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img805/81/eld...rougham382.jpg |
:wow: That looks great. Are all those dash pieces metal? On my Fairlane my dash was plastic chrome so I sent it to CV Vacuum platers. It came out sweet but CV is out of business. If any of it was plastic who did the resto?
