We'll see if we can get John (Bloodline) out there Also. His Camaro is coming along nicely too.

Ridetech Tru-turn kit

Pulled the trigger on the complete Ridetech Tru-turn kit with spindles replacing the Heidts tall spindles I had bought. With all the positive feedback on the kit I wanted it to round out the suspension with it.

Well we hit a little hurdle... I went to the shop today and found out the Doug's 368 headers I have won't work with the kit. The pitman arm hits one of the tubes on the driver side header when turned to the left.

No big deal, just need to cut the tube and have the header re coated. I searched the forums and called Ridetech to check the fitment with my Doug's headers and know one had an answer. Well now we know .

I have seen confirmation that the Dynatech headers clear with no modifications.

I will say the kit is top notch.

Props to Cris at JCG for the fine craftsmanship on these cage nut covers. Very nice quality product. They are actually a nice dark gunmetal (hard to tell with the flash). I think they will look awesome against the rally matte back firewall. Will be noticeable but not too obvious.

Front lower body mount on the firewall.

The cage nut is the nut that is square and basically has a hat surrounding it so it won't turn when you tight the body bolt

and yes this car is looking awesome !!!

Still plugging away at the assembly. Working through the typical issues. We have had to swap out a few items here and there and the wait time has slowed things a bit.

This week got the trunk and interior sprayed with Raptor Liner, fabed up brackets to mount the electric fuel pump and the Vintage Air unit. Also finishing up the fuel and brake lines.

I picked up the DSE dash carrier and loaded the gauges. The VA vent surround was too shiny so I hit it with a red scotchbrite pad which got it much close to the Autometer bezels.

Picked up my seats from the upholstery shop today. TMI covers with the bolstered buns. Turned out much nice then they look in the pictures.

Sure hope the rear fits. I measured twice before I cut... Well more like 7 or 8 times then got scared and didn't cut enought and had to cut more. :D

I sure like these a lot better then the white I had before.
