No disrespect...
Poor Nova. Now it's gonna have an identity crisis at the car shows. I honestly feel bad for the Nova. It was just raped by it's older brother. I'm not a "1st gen" fan or a "Nova" fan first ,like trucks. Sorry man, this should be called project inbred IMHO. Not trying to be a jerk, just can't see it working.

Maybe end result will change my mind. Good luck, and keep up the great fab!!

Thanks Ed I really appreciate the compliments on the car. There were a ton of great shops that worked on the car including me and my neighbors kids.

ps- wait till you see what Kenny and I do on the 62 Bel Air Flat roof that I just acquired from him. I have some crazy idea's going on in my head for this project.

Well the LT4 is out of a corvette and has been rebuilt. I am going to do a direct port injection on the carb type manifold and run an air valve so I can put the stock cowl type air cleaner on the car. This will give it a stock look with the valve covers off a 69 Z28 and the block painted orange. The goal is to make this car look like it came from GM back then but with modern suspension and electronics to make the drive more comfortable.

Here is the Direct Port Injection.

Thanks for the interest in the project, more pictures coming soon.

Ed can you give me some more details on that intake? I wasn't aware anyone was making a direct port carb style intake for LT motors. That could really work well with my TA.

The Nova is coming together nicely. You guys are doing a great job of blending it all together.

Trey,
If you go to www.azspeed-marine.com you can call and they do the direct port on the LT1 GM carb manifold. They use the FAST throttle body and wiring. The manifold is still offered from GM Performance Parts and they just make the fuel rails and drill the holes for the injectors.

I have used this before on a 69 Camaro I built that was on the cover of Chevy Rumble Magazine December 2001.
Here is a very bad picture of what it looked like from the magazine.

Hope that helps.

Wow Chevy Rumple - that's an old magazine. I didn't think you were as old as me.
