Getting ever closer to firing up the LS7. I'm using at set of Kooks stainless headers, but had major issues with steering shaft and the #1 primary. I sent them to Stenod Performance and had them cut out the primary and fabricate a new one to my specs. They did a fantastic job. I couldn't be happier. While they were there, I had them install a set of V-band clamps on the collector. They even removed the Kooks stainless steel name plate and TIG'd it on the new primary.
Check out the welds. https://lateral-g.net/g69/project/motor/0054.jpg https://lateral-g.net/g69/project/motor/0053.jpg https://lateral-g.net/g69/project/motor/0055.jpg |
Here's a few more items to go along with the update. I got the MODO Innovations pedal mounted to the LS7 throttle by wire assembly.
I also got a Nitrous Express LS7 MAF system. It's absolutely trick, it ties into the TPS wire on the engine harness and self learns where WOT is, which in turn is the switch to activate the shot. The nozzles and solenoids are all contained in a billet MAF housing that's annodized black. It's a beautiful piece. https://lateral-g.net/g69/project/interior/0022.jpg https://lateral-g.net/g69/project/motor/0052.jpg |
