Im glad for you man. Good to see it back home.

Ron in SoCal 09-02-2011 11:42 AM

Wayne - Just curious, I noticed there's no cowl panel?

scherp69 09-02-2011 12:09 PM

So Wayne, how did it feel to get up this morning, head out the garage and see the car there? I'm sure you got up in the middle of the night and had to take a peak just to make sure it was still there. Can't wait to see some updates.

Flash68 09-02-2011 01:26 PM

Wayne, very happy to see you safely at home with your car in your new garage!

The outer panel? It was laying in the back seat in grey primer.

He apologized quite a few times. Mike is a great guy and an awesome fabricator. I think working alone and very particular about his work and family stuff just over whelmed him. The only thing I could ever complain about is the length of time, but I never worried about the out come.
Oh and as far as checking it this morning I was still out there last night at about 1:30 am
Once asleep I was dead to the world until ten this morning.

Thanks Guy your support means alot

waynieZ 09-02-2011 06:23 PM

I was out in the garage tonight and took this picture. I've been waiting to see this on here since I bought the wheels.

Bryan O 09-02-2011 07:36 PM

That's awesome Wayne! What size are the wheels and what tires you gonna go with?

Glad to see you got your car home!

waynieZ 09-02-2011 08:05 PM

Thanks Bryan Those are 19 x12" Livewires with 5" back space, the front are 18x8" with 5" back space. I'm hoping to use Michelin 345-30-19 PS2's and 245-40-18 PS2 on the front.

Rick D 09-02-2011 08:58 PM

Looken good Wayne, how long before it goes to paint, or do you have other things you need to finish first. I think I would have slept in the garage last night if I were you

waynieZ 09-02-2011 09:02 PM

Thanks Rick. I was out there until I couldn't see straight any more, and I still didn't want to go in the house.

rixtrix1 09-03-2011 01:11 AM

So good to see you got it home, Wayne. Looking real good in the garage. Can't wait to see some project pics moving ahead.

Yah Wayne that Sikkens stuff is nice stuff, but of corse I work for the company that makes Sikkens paint so what do I know. Did mike say what it is? Looks like Rally Black very nice and VERY durable. We make that in a spray can if you need to do any touch up, let me know and I can get you a couple of cans. Just Pm me your address

waynieZ 09-04-2011 02:32 PM

Thanks Rick that would be great. I'll use it around the package tray and on the corners so it can match the dash. Now that I know it comes in spray cans I'll us it on my T56 when I finally pick a color.
Thanks again.

waynieZ 09-04-2011 10:01 PM

Here's some of the tunnel being raised. I should have plenty of room for the T56
