The car is really beautiful. Love the way the carbon looks with the black paint. Oh, and the clear coat really looks good on the hood too...I mean the way it's cleared makes it look really good. Your paint guy did a fine job with the hood.
|
It came out great John.
|
Looks killer John!
I agree it could use a little drop. Do you have room under your rear wheel wells? |
what show was this?
This is one of the reason i went with a 18x11 in the rear instead of a 18x12. This allowed me to lower the car down more. Im only limited by my coilover length instead of tire and fender clearance |
Sacramento Autorama.
I think I can go another inch before it rubs. Ill get some engine shots tomorrow when I head up there. |
That is one badd '68 John.
Well done. |
Bad Ass John. Can't wait to see it in person tomorrow!

John very clean doors dig the design what panels are those? What handles are you planning to get in? BTW interior of teh car is overrated, lol what is the ETA?????
Gui |
Its a deluxe door panel that was modified with fiberglass then recovered. Ill use a stock door handle.
|
John looks awesome! I like the idea, same shop that is putting the car together is doing the interior? Who are you using?
Gui |
They are doing everything on it. West Coast Auto Craft in Cloverdale
|
John sweet I bet you cna not wait any longer. Any planned ETA on getting it done?
|
It was supposed to be done already. So not sure when it will actually be ready. Hopefully soon.
|
Man I hear ya, but get an ETA from them. What else is needed to make her a driver at this point?
Patience is king but the itch is a bitch lol :) Gui |
|
John the interior is looking great.. Its so close now that at least you can see the end... Looking forward to hearing it run though the area..
|
John - went up to WCAC today to check out the cars. They are still plugging away.
Pam and the new girl were working on your carpet and back seats. I gotta tell ya, that headliner is AWESOME! Looks sooo good in person. I love how Pam did it with the stock headliner bows. I think it looks way better then the Marquez style suede headliners. Provides a little more definition. She also got the package tray and side metal pieces all wrapped in leather. They look great too. You need to have her send you some pics. |
Jeff lol I was so going to quote and re-edited what you wrote for fun :)
John fingers crossed want to see this puppy coming along so bad!! Gui |

Nice... l love the red stitching. Subtle but it ties everything together nicely.
|
They are copies of the cobra misanos.
One of my favourite seats. Nice |
OK guys heres some updated interior shots. Pam at WCAC is doing a pimpin job on my interior. Im very impressed with the detail where she mated the leather to the carbon.
