Here's a video Charley took about an hour ago of Mark and company tuning his car on a chassis dyno at Stenod's. Sounds pretty damn healthy.

Check your seat belts!! Sounds great. Should pump out some impressive times. Congrats on the car.

camcojb 06-17-2010 08:13 PM

Mark is real happy with how this car turned out, which speaks volumes considering the builds he's done in the past...........

Jody

NovaBlue71 06-17-2010 08:49 PM

Great to see it running on the chassis dyno Mark, saying it's been a busy last week would be understatement huh? I think the car has so much of a factory appeal which I really like but with a modern twist that is bad ass. Have a safe trip over to motorstate. see you this weekend Joe

olds87 06-17-2010 09:07 PM

:wow: Geez, look like that car pin you back in seats. Have a fun.

clill 06-18-2010 04:27 AM

Vegas69 06-18-2010 08:26 AM

Sounds insanely powerful, speaking of that, how much power did it make?

GregWeld 06-18-2010 08:46 AM

Sounds DANGEROUS!

EEEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Stuart Adams 06-18-2010 09:57 AM

Can I nickname it Badass kin of Jackass. Sounds wicked.

clill 06-18-2010 10:03 AM

I don't remember the hp but I think it made 800ft lbs of torque. Brian Thomson builds killer engines. Brian is going to show up tonight with his chevelle that makes 900 ft lbs.....:hail:I

JKnight 06-18-2010 10:44 AM

Yeah, and 700 hp at about 4800 rpm, peak of nearly 750hp.

Stuart Adams 06-18-2010 10:48 AM

Superchargers are a beautiful thing, the torque will make it feel like 1000hp.

Rybar 06-18-2010 11:37 AM

That's just badass. :hail:

RickM415 06-18-2010 11:59 AM

Sounds very angry and very fast.
I bet that bad boy got some serious torque numbers!!:wow:

Tom.A 06-18-2010 01:01 PM

Awesome :hail:

bulldog19 06-24-2010 03:25 PM

Awesome Build. Can i put my name on the list behind Charley for when Mark decides to sell this beast?
Nice work Mark you have raised the bar yet again.

Davezz28 06-24-2010 04:08 PM

Beautiful work Mark

If I may ask, what spring rates are you running? and are they about the same on the Mule and Jackass?

Dave

Stielow 07-10-2010 04:15 PM

Look out Jackass

We dynoed and tuned up Red Devil last night at Stenod Performance. After some tweeking RD made 594 ft*lbs at 4200 torque and 569 HP at 6300 to the rear tire. Compared to Jackass last year 460 ft*lbs at 4400 RPM and 498 HP at 6400. All dyno pulls were done with the coolant temperature at 220 F to simulate track usage. JA was fast but I think RD will be a bit faster.

The new calibration has 11,000 changes from what we had at Gingerman. The car hauls ass now. :woot:

The graph below shows Jackass with dashed lines and Red Devil with solid.

The dry sump tank is a Peterson 2 gallon tank. The LS engine is set up like an LS9 Dry Sump set up.
