I ordered stickers and put them on a magnetic sheet and cut them out to make some nice removable numbers. And they passed the freeway test.

I didn't order letters, so I printed some letters and used them as stencils on some carbon fiber tape on the same magnetic sheet. Worked out good.

I also got a new autocross hat, this should keep the sun off my face and neck while working the course.

That hat is awesome, but you need a Cuban stogie to go with it....haha

Seriously though, nice car and love the fact that you dont see very many of them. And the garage looks fantasic as well....keep em coming.....Mike

Thanks Mike, I appreciate the compliments.

CAM did have a lot CAMaros in the class. At least 3. 1 falcon 3 mustangs and GTO and a chevelle and a fairlane.

Bryce 01-26-2014 09:58 PM

I just experienced the first SDR event with the CAM guys. What a great turn out. I had a blast running with the friends. The car felt great, the power steering felt great, still has feel.... The stiffer rear spring really balance the car out and the overall package was great to drive. I don't really have any other mods planned before the next SCCA event.

Here are the videos:

Pictures and results next week.

a few pics from the last autocross. My buddy Jeff came out to get some pictures of the rear valance he built for my falcon.

yep!

You are the first to pick up on that. I asked my dad for a Jack style hat for Christmas and Santa delivered.

So to build the rear diffuser I need to move my fuel tank, per SCCA rules "stock fuel tank in stock location is acceptable, if fuel tank is moved it must be replaced with a FIA FT3 fuel cell." So now I am spec'ing out a ATL fuel cell. Anyone have any input or suggestions.

Pitstop usually has good pricing on ATLs. Get the trap door sump kit also it's another $170 or so. I was originally going to run a pair of duck foot pick ups but DG did some homework and straightened me out on that.

I had another great time at the latest CAM event at SCCA.

The first time I did not make any changes. Here are some vids and movies.

I decided on the 10 gal, with duck foot pick ups. I have a 1 quart fuel filter that should help...

Bryce 03-31-2014 08:12 PM

I haven't updated in awhile....

I ordered the ATL fuel cell.

http://media.motortopia.com/files/21...307_194315.jpg

And a few fittings from summit.

http://media.motortopia.com/files/21...301_185009.jpg

A few cable ties and Im ready to race.

I have made 4 events this year, almost the same I made all of last year. The car has been performing pretty good. Mark, Dan and Alcino have been great competition. There are a few videos up on my youtube page.

I was having a slight rub on the inner fender in the back so I made some .050" thick wheel spacers and problem solved. I may even be able to drop the rear another 1/2".

and a shot from the last event with the CAM crew.

Wow went all out with the lightweight AL can. Nice purchase. :D

Are you going to build a fuel cell cage?

Yep, it wasn't that much more for the Al upgrade.

I will be building something that can handle a roll over, but not a full out wheel to wheel legal 1" square tube cage. But mine will not hang below the trunk floor. Im making room for aero.

Cool. A diffuser? That's what I want to do on mine.

Hey guys, I have been getting a few PMs about car status.

First some life stuff, my son is now 3 months old! we had to buy another car race red focus ST. Which is fun for a wagon and 33mpg 252hp 270ft-lbs.

I have made it to 8 SCCA events in CAM this year. The car and driver keep improving. I will post some videos in the next few days. and I will post up results for the events as well.

Our CAM class is all pre79 and we average 12 cars per event. This has made the class extremely fun and competetive. The event yesterday had places 2 to 9 within 1 second of eachother on a 50 second course.

rustomatic 08-12-2014 12:21 PM

Hey Bryce,

With all the yacking on this site about NorCal events, we'll have to see your Falcon up here at some point. Are you ready for a road course, maybe even USCA, if they return to Laguna Seca next year? Hint, hint, hint. Good to see you're still in action!

My car is not ready for the big course. I need some safety add ons first. I only run a lap belt in my bucket seats. No roll bar.

i am installing the fuel cell soon. then maybe more to come. Or I build the new car I have been designing for the last year or so.

Flash68 08-13-2014 12:31 PM

Nice going Bryce. Keep workin your plan. :)

How many gallons is that cell?

Bryce 10-30-2014 01:25 PM

Wow my lack of updates is unacceptable. I have made it to 10 events this year and a solid 3rd in points. I got my ATL fuel cell installed. I also bought new tires. Same falken in the back and the new hankook rs3 in the front. Wow. What a difference. The front has so much grip. The rear is always loose. Time to lower the rear roll center and add some aero.

The addition of the 10 gal fuel cell was to make room for a diffuser.

SEMA next week. See you there.

WSSix 10-30-2014 07:05 PM

Good job, Bryce! Glad to hear the car is working well for you.

waynieZ 10-30-2014 09:47 PM

Congrats on the points standings, good luck ! Oh enjoy SEMA too.

Sorry for the delay Bill. I don't have much to me for the forums with 2 kids running around the house.

I bought those from mcmaster.com
