That looks like a good opportunity for a custom radiator module that would allow you to remove that crazy amount of radiator support bracing, get cold air in that air filter thingy (easy 1000 horsepower increase), lose weight (like 50 pounds, or a lite beer addiction equivalent), look faster (duh), and have some stuff that matches the color of your Porshaaaaa.

Well I think he's correct. You should strongly consider his recommendations.

Being that i missed most the driving events this year, i could of made this weekends American Auto-x event but decided to fore-go on beating the car as i'm driving it to Chicago from the Bay Area for the start of the Good-guys road tour, Chicago to Texas Motor Speedway, Sept 24-30.

So, while i had my oldest son's wedding in June, with the reception in our back yard, the majority of January - June was focused on the house and family. July went in a blink (did squeeze a trip to New York in with friends again) and August was vacation-thirty at Tahoe!!

In the mean time, july to current, ordered and installed 6p Baer calipers in the front, helped greatly street driving with no booster, still looking forward to the track and see how it does, Hopefully October's Shelby event, if the Texas road trip is "uneventful" and the car is delivered in time...we'll see.

Also ordered Dr. Sutton's secret sauce recipe Ridetech's for the front shocks (single adjustable) as the whole front end is "up in the air" with a possible change to the new Speedtech set up. Gonna wait a year or two for that too happen, in the mean time, the front end whoa's are cured (ended the "floaty" feeling i couldn't adjust out with the previous coil-overs) and installing the
triple adjustable Ridetech's for the rear. I really wanted to support Ridetech, they've done alot for our community and provide some of the best service in the business for our hobby.

Recharged the a/c, lowered it a bit more.

To do, wipers, sort out the sound system, exhaust muffler change and rout the back exhaust over the axle and out the back, align, make a "modern" console, and a new trunk lock.

Oh, then complete respray and body work and new interior LOL...Jk, well, not really, just not now......

The weird science formula is simple: for every day you looked at the BMF thread, it somehow causes your ride to spend a day on jack stands. :headscratch:

Excellent color choice. ;)

Interesting work on the hood. I'll be curious to see how that all works out.

syborg tt 04-23-2017 06:24 AM

Love the color now you need to refinish the wheels to match.

I'm all about the blue so of course I'll agree that LeMans blue is a good choice. I like the hood too. Where did you source the scoop?

That was the one on the old hood, which was taken off a true cowl sometime in late 70's or 80's. My friend who did the paint in round one, older dude (somewhat losing it, dementia maybe...) had NO primer or paint under the cowl and hood, raw metal for 10 years, i saw no rust trails when i washed it or drove it in the rain, that was probably my biggest disappointment with the "workmanship" (the 7/16 of bondo in two spots wasn't exactly a good surprise) on the previous paint job. But, you get what you pay for (in this case, 11,000$ worth of trade and a 9 year wait, hey what are friends for).

You may be thinking what i'm thinking. Maybe not the same "color", but i've got something up my sleeve(less t shirt)

Trey, i too, think you will be happy with the next finish selection on the wheels....too be continued...

Mike.

It occurs to me that I haven't been in the car since the tune was finalized and that I haven't been in JT's car either. I had to spend a few minutes catching up. I forgot you ordered the shocks to end the floatiness.

Looking forward to seeing you guys at the American Auto-X this year.

Whoa, missed this whole page.

All I know is THAT is how u tune a car, Jason at RPM (Rohnert Park Machine)
They spent 4 hours in the car and bout 4 dyno pulls. Car just runs way better (previously dyno'd at another dyno facility). Haven't had a chance to drive it much as a week later it went into metal/body/paint.

Fyi, Josh (cjsgarage on here) is a good friend who recommended RPM as they now do his machine/engine builds. Also @steeldustmachine on IG for some of their engine builders photos and techy stuff. I'ma gonna save up for their LS7 when i blow up my LS1.

Also, just deleted my PB account, Fu k those guys. From "hey, part time users, just look at our crappy ads and we won't charge u" to "oh, to stay active with us, you need a fancy (insert bulls t name here) and it will be 399 a year". Done. So, no more pics of dis-traction till i figure out another third party or figure out how to do "easily" from my desktop.

I set you up on Garagescene.net and I won't even charge you as long as you pay for the Hotel room.

Your half at least.

This......

And my Brother in Law, Rudy, that drove the whole thing last year due to my "medicating myself".... is going to drive Marc Meadors '32. He was going to go with me but then Marc had something come up and can't go - and his '32 was already sitting in Moorseville - so Rudy will drive it to GG Fort Worth for him.
