LOVE IT!!!!!! :hail:

I was lucky enough to meet James and his wife at ATS today. Great, friendly people who are just fun to be around. James was great about showing the car to everyone who walked in. He's a guy that is truly and rightfully proud of an amazing car. We've all seen some killer stuff done here but honestly the attention to detail is none stop on this 67. It's one of those cars that you can look at all day and never find a flaw or and over looked item. Not one of the pictures you've seen do the car justice! If it gets rolled out side tomorrow I'll try and get some High Res photos and post. Best part is James has no intention of making it a trailer queen.
Looking forward to seeing it on the track next Saturday!! |
I also looked it over top to bottom and it's a quality piece that is tastefully done.
|
Echoing what the others have said, this car is amazing in person! You could spend a few hours looking at all the detail work.
Great job! |
To Curtis and everybody else who stopped by ATS yesterday - it was truly a pleasure to meet all of you and take some time to talk about our cars. One of the things that I really appreciate about this hobby is the people that you meet and the friends that you can make before, during, and after a build. I am glad that the '67 was well received, it's been three years of hard work by many people and when you build something like this in a vacuum sometimes you can lose your way despite your best efforts.
Here is a quick snapshot that I took this morning in the American Touring Specialties parking lot... http://www.onelapcamaro.com/OLC_pics/sema%201.jpg |
And with great thanks to Tyler and Russel at ATS we were able to get the sway bar installed before heading over to the SEMA show this afternoon. Optima Batteries has sponsored our entry and although we are not in their booth, we have an awesome spot in the main hall beside the Ford display. I'll be kicking around most of the week so if you're around, give me a shout or fire me a PM. Until then, a quick move in picture...

Steve - that was definately a great way to spend a Sunday. It was awesome to see Penny and the '67 side by side.
I'll leave the video to you on Saturday (unless I can track down one of those killer little camera deals this week) - you definately have Penny sorted out and I am sure that you will be putting on a clinic on Saturday. Jake - thanks for getting the hinge to us - I really appreciate it and the spoiler looks great on the car. |

Well, she is sort of sorted out.. I made a ton of changes, but she feels pretty good so far. Friday night we will bolt on the larger sway bar and that should help as well. You car is freaking amazing and you should be very proud of what you built. |

Simple Awesome
|
:wow: ! Beautiful!
Are you going to run some sort of an "air intake"? Or, do you think that K&N will be good enough? |
Absolutely SICK James!! Love it
|
That turned out beautiful. Nice job.
|
car looks great, love the engine bay
|
Awsome Camaro!:D look foward to see/hearing about in the One Lap of America.
|
I'd say somthing if my jaw wasn't dragging on the ground.
|
are the wires run for the wiper motor or are they hidden some how?
|
Thanks for all of the kind words, I am really happy with how the car is now (notice that I didn't say anything about it being finished)...
Someone mentioned to me today that I hadn"t posted any interior pictures. The show is not the perfect place for interior shots but here id one that's not bad but still does not do the new Marquez Design dash justice: http://www.onelapcamaro.com/OLC_pics/sema%20int.jpg |

naw its not hooked up yet... just one of the things he didnt get a chance to get to during the mad dash for sema! and yes the dash is a kick azz piece! just hard to tell in pics. |
It was great to talk with you today James. The car is bad-ass. I wish I could hang around on Saturday to lend a hand.
Good luck. Remember, too much use of the go pedal will slow you down, it's all about the line, listen to Mary, and have fun. |
i've been following this from the beginning. it's an amazing car. the interior looks great, i'd love to see more pics of it and more info on what parts were used.
|
James, here's one that someone took of your car.
