Fuel and diff vents?

what's the finish technique to get that nice pattern on the stainless, DA sander with 120grit?

Not my work, but that's aluminum and yes, a DA gives that finish. I usually use 120 of 220 depending on how much surface damage I'm trying to cover.

DSE always had a nice finish like that. I always assumed it was a sander(vibration) with some fine grit or steel wool pad attachment.

A bit unrelated to this car but I’m wondering how the riviera is holding up with the solid mount chassis. Also, your Sonoma lives in the PNW now, I saw and talked with the owner at Puyallup GG’s, sounds like he’s loving the truck.

It is holding up fine. Think of it as a unibody like half the cars out there today.

Do you know what sizes your supply and return fittings are(to the engine)? Do you maybe have a picture with all the lines hooked up to it? Are you doing a similar dipstick to Mark's Apex?

Feed line from the tank tot he engine will be a -16 AN and the return a -12 AN.

Mark, thank you! Where are you connecting the drain on the air/oil separator? About how much oil do you end up using and or measuring in the tank? Any good pics of your tank all hooked up?

Just a heads up. Matt sent chrome to Advanced Plating and was told expect maybe a 20 week turnaround. Apparently they are busy so anyone doing chrome might send right away.

Thats their normal turn around apparently...I got a quote 4 years ago on some bumpers and was about the same. Not bitching, good for them to have that much success. Very few platers left.

Jesus, on the TV shows they turn it around in days. That's with the film crew there watching it get done....

Advance Platers are some of the best. They charge top dollar for their services..

I read the other day that Dave Kindig bought Ogden Chrome so his jobs get priority.
