I found this picture on another site. The paint looks louder in this picture.

sixtnine 03-12-2009 08:24 PM

With the hood shut it kinda reminds me of the No. 3 ZL-1. I love the subtleness of this killer. Do you miss No. 3 Charley?

clill 03-12-2009 08:34 PM

This will be more fun than # 3. Yes I miss it. I have # 14 going together though.

sixtnine 03-12-2009 08:46 PM

You have owned MANY cool cars. I plan on doing the last leg of this years Power Tour. Look forward to seeing JACKASS

Man, this thread makes my head hurt - in a good way. :willy:

Charlie, are you coming to Carlisle in June, and if so what car(s) are you bringing?

waynieZ 04-22-2009 03:41 PM

ZR1 wheels

Charlie were any spacers used to fit the pos. offset ZR1 wheels on the AME. frt. sub. And what did you do on the rear. I would like to use the new ZO6 wheels on my 72 camaro. Thanks Scott.

gearhead1186 04-27-2009 06:36 AM

I love how clean and simple it is. Crazy car, but not disgustingly overdone.. exhaust dumped after the rear, stock door panels, no center console, no crazy sheet metal work...

but drivetrain and suspension mean business!!!!! just how i like it!!!

Ummgawa 04-27-2009 07:02 AM

Did Mark help you acquire the LS9? It seems to be in short supply and from what I hear, with GM's woes the ZR-1 may be a one maybe two year car. I hope the engine come with a warranty just in case....

awesome car again.

olds87 04-27-2009 04:59 PM

All I want to know is, where the video of the engine running?

Charlie,

In the storage compartment built in my back seat is 700 watts of XM. The cover is hinged and covered in carpet. Plenty of room to throw a few duffle bags. No room in the trunk because of the battery and fuel cell.

No spacers used on the front or rear. I did hear it running over the phone and it idles smoothly at 700 rpm and sounds pretty cool.

Congrats Charlie. You gonna give me a ride next time I see you?

You gonna be out at the show in Woodland this year? If so, bring this one. El Mule is cool, but I think dad would like to see your new one. He and I still gotta come over one day and see your collection.

I wouldn't worry about that, he probably won't drive the others anymore once this one gets home........................ ;)
