Update 7/13

Man does time fly by .... First, I passed the final for my MBA last week, now that's over ... Camaro time! Well until August 9th and then my capstone project starts ...

Here's some car porn, the brown truck came today and delivered my Speedway Engineering 9", what a beauty!!!!

I primed my T56 and painted it with VHT high temp paint, nothing fancy but it came out cool looking! I'll do my engine block the same when it gets here!

Trans looks great for a spray paint job.

Congrats on the MBA as well. I'm finishing in December and can't wait to quit cutting tuition checks.

wow looks really good. What did you prime the trans with? also did you take off the shifter or just tape it up? Keep the updates coming I love your build.

:thankyou: I went to AZone and picked up VHT high temp primer and their high temp caliper paint. I took the shifter off but it was so cool looking I had to put it back on ...

Sure, its the Blackjack Magnum shifter that came with the Hurst Driveline conversion Kit.

I was working on getting the new 9" centered and upper links modified to fit the fab 9" when the brown truck showed up ....

I did a lot of research for a proper fuel delivery system for an LS motor and decided to KISS. I didn't care for the looks of the new tank, a quick black spray paint that wouldn't last very long under a car, so I changed that last night ...

Some nice looking parts there Chief. That's some sweet welds on that rear end, some talent at work right there for sure. Looking good.

grendel 07-16-2016 11:16 PM

very nice work.

I did something similar on my wheel tubs.
