I don't know.... I graduated from the Portland public school system (well actually I dropped out my junior year of HS - but I did get a GED and stayed at a Holiday Inn Express once) and I wasn't ever shown that this kind of inattention to detail was acceptable.

I am now at the state of just shaking my head and chuckling to myself... it's like WTF.... just grab a tool and fix it... no point in stressing out.
