Thanks Scott... I'm sorting out some stupid little things -- nothing major now. Kugel replaced the stub axles and made me some larger dia half shafts... but I've yet to "test them". I will... :unibrow:

I've found just dumb mistakes - mismatched bolts/screws... but other than that it's been very uneventful. I didn't drive it at all this weekend... since my Brother in Law is here this weekend and we're thrashing on his '69 Camaro... it's a big job - new sub - new motor - complete wiring - gutted interior etc. So I'm concentrating on getting them back on the road (so I can get my Nomad back... :D )

These were taken this weekend.... I slicked and painted his firewall - and the inner fenders.... and we're now at reassembly... Blown 383 made 625HP on the dyno and 581 ftlbs of TQ..

I wouldn't have it - but it's not mine and he's not actually interested in turning a corner....

It was fun to come up with a "re-join" of the square sub frame connectors to the round back end of the TCI. I just ended up making a box one piece at a time and cut a 2" radius in the flat stock - then split it in half - so I got a good proper weld joint on the top and bottom pieces... it worked out okay.

That was his ONLY reason for choosing the TCI -- it's a "pro street" tube chassis look. It's very appropriate for the car. It will be far far superior to the worn out sagging OEM version that was in there!

No -- You have gotten the wrong impression.... please re-read my post and you'll see that the only reason it's being put back together is because RUDY is here for the weekend - and it is HE that knows a socket from a hammer. Not I. I'm merely his helper.
