I picked up a little bling to cover those ugly coils. I also have a set of Holley polished valve covers for it. ( I'm embarrassed to say I miss placed them and now I can't find them in all this chaos in the garage. )
Here are the coil covers, I tried one on for size. I'll use socket head screws. http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/xq90/924/a0ffax.jpg |
Wow Wayne you have got some time in it 👍👍 good job

Wayne I love this build! Great work as always...
How tight do the coil covers fit to the coil? I like them, but I wonder if they will trap too much heat, and cause the coil to overheat? Where did you get them? |
I didn't really notice how tight they were but I think the aluminum would act as a heat sinc.
I got them form E Bay Andrew has some different manufacturers covers on his Cougar and I've never heard him say anything bad about them. If I try them again I'll see if I can tell how much separation there is. |
Those covers are a nice finishing touch.

Thanks, Andrew had some like them on his Cougar and I liked them so I kept my eye open for something like them and found these.

Christmas goodies!
Well Santa was good to me this year with everything but weather and time to get in the garage. He did send me some goodies for the car.
The first is a Twist Machine Paddle shifter, Looks pretty good. https://imagizer.imageshack.com/v2/xq90/924/7x1B4I.jpg Next I got an E-Stop electric parking brake. https://imagizer.imageshack.com/v2/1...923/CNGxzC.jpg The weather is a little better so I might be able to warm it up to a tolerable temp. |
