I appreciate the comment and I do my best to inform via pictures  I'm a visual learner too that helps!

Truck showed up today :trophy-1302: I really appreciate the Made in the USA, thanks again to Jay Miller for quality, now I have some reading to do .... instructions.

Quarter panel fitment and problem areas are no different than the driver's side ... here we go again!!

Update //21

Good garage day ... what started as a skin over the OEM to welded to OEM quater panel, now I have to drill out the spot welds in the jamb and take it off as a unit. The jamb area on top of the rocker will need rust repair and then I can put it back on after I epoxy and spray Lizard Skin on the back.

Take a look ....

Starting to look like a pro-touring Camaro now, thanks for looking ....

It'll pay dividends in the end. Then you can beat on it too break it, then make it better. It never ends its a vicious cycle lol

Definitely looking like something now, great work.

Thanks Mikael, it is looking like a car now and that means I'm getting close!

Thought I'd update a couple pics ... I finished the graft of AMD to OEM quarter and then drilled out all the spot welds in the door jamb area to take care of the rust and get the back side in epoxy. I did get the inner quarter panel and the inner support down to bare metal, and it's ready for epoxy, just didn't get pics of the cleaned up areas, duh!

http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/102...921/NfbDvF.jpg
Got all this down to bare metal too!
http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/102...922/si571H.jpg
Dang NVH stuff, rusted!
http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/102...924/nEcyl3.jpg
This will buff out :lmao:

These pics show the rust between the panels and where GM put that dang NVH putty in the door jamb ... which has an affinity for moisture, grrr! Now I'll get the back side in epoxy and Lizard Skin, fix the corner and tail pan radius and get her bonded on the car for good!!!!

Thanks for looking ....

Looking good. What kind of clamps are those you are using for the butt joints? Look much nicer than the typical ones.

John

Your definitely doing a complete rebuild on every part of the car. It's going to be worth all the extra work your doing and will show up in the fit and finish.

John, :thankyou: I can't find those clamps anymore, I purchased them from a speed/ hot rod shop, Made in the USA! I bought a set of 10 for me and my brother and when he passed I got dibs on his set, so now I have 20 clamps.

Wayne, it's a labor of love for me and I think I may have OCD. There is too many cars out there that still have rust hiding under that $$$ paint job, just not going to be mine.

When I get back to Cali I'll post up some more pics ...
