Who wants to bet the over/under with me on whether this car is drivable by the time Garrett graduates from High School?

As Payton has told me more than once.. there really isn't a whole lot left to get it "just running"... so, no, it will not be scrapped. It'll happen.

Saw the perfect BMF support vehicle.

Helper springs in back for the spare SB.2...jes find a SMS (stripes modification specialist) and it's good to go.

^^ Now that's a nice wagon. :D

Moving on... we're gonna do a cleanup in aisle 5 around here... long overdue but now seems to be as good a time as any.

Will pick this thread back up when Payton's is off the front burner at Jim's and mine is back up to bat.

Nice stance, bro. The spark plug wires seem both ambitious and auspicious at once.

Get this excessively moved foster-child pile of spare metal done in good weather, and I'll tow it back here myself (with your money, of course). Nobody should be in a hurry to get a Nomad moving . . .

Nice to see you decided to make it a convertible too. The on the fly design changes are really tying things together.

Ha thanks. I wish it was moving fast enough to be forced to make some on the fly decisions/changes!

Same amount of people involved and it’s got to be nearing the cost, of course some will say it never happened. :headspin:

I like the progress Dave, good stuff!

sixnina 12-31-2019 12:33 PM

Update!!!!!! Pot Favor

DFRESH 01-01-2020 08:10 PM

Hey Brother, congrats on the progress! Life throws lots of other important things in the way, but I for one am glad you will see this one through. Chad Ryker, and a lot of other guys I know have been stuck in mid-project stage, but to their credit, they saw it through---look at Chad now---super stud. I think you will wind up the same way!

Vegas69 01-01-2020 09:52 PM

Look who the cat drug in! I don't know about this POS, but if you want a good laugh, go back and read through some of the old posts in this thread.

P.S. This build thread started 10 years ago. I say go for the record at this point. HA HA HA :D

fleet 01-01-2020 11:37 PM

Sadly, nothing happening on my Camaro in 2019..... hopefully some progress happens in 2020.... I am actually waiting for Payton to finish his so we can see where his went wrong and make corrections on mine.

In the meantime I having been playing with this when I can. Hoping to run some NASA TTU events in 2020. Yes, it is LS powered.
