When your Torino is as fast as a Ford GT, we'll talk. Better hurry though, there's no way you're getting them once I put them in my car.

Look into this Grasshopper...

Define faster. David Pearson only got to 190mph at Daytona qualifying in 69 so my brick probably won't better the GT on top end even though I have more hp than the GT or Pearson. 1/4 mi drag race maybe.

I'll get nervous about you fitting those seats if you actually make some decisions on drivetrain and suspension for that Camarostang of yours.:D

The drivetrain will be as low in the frame as it can be, within reason.

There is a Ford GT that shows up to most events so you can test your theory. :unibrow:

My only theory is it will be an exciting car to drive and something a little different. :D

Well Todd you know as well as anyone once I get this thing to the track it will be a long road of tuning to get it "fast".:D

I've chosen some good parts and am working with good people for the base. I'll have plenty of power delivery and a chassis with good geometry to tune.

Spring rates, sway bar rates, shock valving, air pressure, yada yada yada..... There will be a lot of things to sort out. Step one I just need to keep focused on building a running car. :faint:

Agreed, get to to the finish line first, then the real work begins.

I'm ordering part of the suspension next week, I had to wait until BOS's security system was free of bugs and working perfectly because I figured there was a chance a couple of seats might go missing.

Anyway, I'm sure your car will be an exciting ride. I'm sure it will be a handful, but that doesn't mean it will be slow, it just means that it will be fun to drive at any speed.
