I knew there were some locals coming, but I didn't realize it was that many. I'll make more.

This one's on me, boyz...but I told the 4-5 ladies tending the bar/buffet it was okay if they had a tip-jar. They're being paid handsomely, so no need to make a big deal out of their tip-jar. Interestingly...they're all unmarried [presently] and claim they don't scare easy!

I parked 30 cars in the warehouse/party room today, plus I'll have my two drag racing cars in place tomorrow morning 6:30 AM. My favorite section of the display is the 6 Corvettes, but you'll see a wide spectrum of stuff including original unrestored GM muscle cars thru a couple purdy nasty protouring and notorious street rods. Still have a day's worth of decorating to do tomorrow, then Wednesday morning I meet the Brinks truck at the beer store. If you have a preference in brand of beer, bring it...otherwise you get your choice of the 5 brands I plan to provide, complimentary. There'll also be plenty of finger foods, wine, soft drinks, bottle water and coffee plus tables/seating for 185, give or take.

In recap...Free food & beer, 32 car display, 5 barmaids, a couple hundred gearheads...God Bless America!!

Wow Steve, that is incredible. To put on this party on you is unbelievable, I think all of us wanted to donate to the cost somehow. Six corvette= ZO6 :unibrow: :unibrow:

Thank God they replant trees!!!!

Steve,

Once again thanks for the hospitality. This is no doubt going to be a great event. Look forward to seeing all you guys & gals (if there are any??) Wednesday or sooner, just hopefully not in jail by weeks end. I can read the headlines now...Lat-G group arrested after chaos breaks out at stripclub!!

Great party, Thanks again Scott, Jody, and everyone that helped with everything. It is so good to put so many faces with these names we see everyday.

Steve, all I can say is WOW, what a nice collection of cars. I asked several there if you offered someone their pick, which would they choose. Not many could pick one true favorite. For me it would have to be either the 409 car or the blue COPO. Of course I would have to fight SW over the COPO-LOL
You are truely a class act and I was very impressed with all the work you and your staff did to make the event a hit. Thanks again.
