the rear of that car flat looks awesome! I really dig the diffuser concept, built in spoiler even if it does seem a bit Shelby/California Special-ish, looks really cool.
Everything is so smooth and blended well on the rear of the car, any thoughts of smoothing out the front dam/incorporated splitter design or will it be keeping the sharp lines as seen here? |
Impressive

http://www.nittotire.com/#index%2Etire%2Ent05%2Esizes tmadden The dash is pretty straight forward. You need to remove the majority of the stock dash... a couple stock brackets.. but really... it took 5 minutes to do. We used a air saw. The stock dash and brackets are still in good shape and usable. Marquez did a nice job designing that. The brackets that hold the dash to the body are easily mounted and they give you a nice amount of room to adjust where you want the holes drilled. The pics of mine are at an early "install" stage... like the area around the steering column. It came uncut... so we cut it. There is another "finishing" piece that goes over that area. Very well designed. bynbad914 Thanks for the compliments. The front spoiler is going to stay sharp like that. The original mock up pieces we used some curves.. but decided on this one. No real reason.... we just like how it went with the grill i guess.... lol. |
Man that is lookin beastly.... keep up the progress. Definitely cannot say you are copying someone else's ideas! :D

I'd highly suggest reconsidering that front splitter. That car is going to be undrivable in a lot of circumstances. Grocery story parking lots will eat it alive and come back for seconds. A stock Camaro spoiler on a lowered first gen gets ripped apart frequently.
If that car plans to get driven, I'd reconsider it or make it removable. The gentleman I met at Cal Speedway had the right idea with his front spoiler, he made it removable... http://lh5.ggpht.com/__OT3YJ9o9Ao/SS...0/IMG_0663.JPG |
Thanks for the advise...
This Camaro's chin isn't to bad. There is actually a few inches of clearance. Rolling in and out of the shop is no problem. Im also used to slammed cars. The chin of my last M5 was seriously 1.5 inches off the ground. Drove it for 4 years. I don't think there will be any problem. |
Nice looking car

The center section is a seperate removable piece. If it gets banged up we will just replace it. The sides are permanent so they will require repairs if needed. It shouldn't be too bad.
