Thanks Russell I was going to set my front castor at 6.5. Not sure how much difference there is between the Corvette C5 and C6 settings. Is your rack location close to factory spec's to stop any bump steer.

Cheers Tim

On my C6 setup I run about 6.5 degrees of caster, but 7 is a good number too.. it's also going to vary depending on a host of factors. The best way is to try a number, test the car and then adjust until you find the best setting.

I also have 1.5 degrees of negative camber.. but I have sperical bearings so the zero deflection means I always have 1.5 degrees.

With rubber some guys dial in more neg camber to compensate for the deflection.

In regards to bump steer, a quick way to check is to make sure your tie rods are dead parralel to your lower control arms.

Cheers Steve excellent advice, Chassis is now on the Chassis table, time to sit back and wait of my ZO6 C5 rolling chassis.:( . Coming from Cleveland pick a part. Gus and the guys there offer a good old fashion service.

Cheers Tim

that's because the shop was hiding behind the weeds and you couldn't see the rest of the cars in the drive. LOL. were in Luling on 183 next to the Propane place. Just look for there truck we're next door and share a parking lot.
