Not really sure how it will perform, but it sure looks amazing. For a square tube stainless steel hydro powered rock buggy.

More Fab-crack for the junkies in the house... :P

Who doesn't love the engineering and build craftsmanship from Tim Divers.

Ferrambo is just amazing stuff.

Jim -

Timmy Diver does amazing fab work! His brother does all the interiors.... I go up there all the time just to get a "fab fix". A buddies son works there. They're great guys.

And I love the out-in-the-weeds farm look of the facility - then to see the stuff rolling outta there kills me.

Wish I had someplace like that close, but I'd be there all the time !

Have you been to Rod Emory's place ? They do porsche stuff - but there are some nice pieces coming from them too. In your neck of the woods ?

Check the Workshop and the Outlaws pages.

Jim -- Never been to Emorys shop. It's not far from Portland (where I was born and have relatives etc) so maybe I'll check it out next time I'm down there.

BTW -- the "barns" at Divers are anything but... they have full on fab shops going there -- and paint etc... as well as clean room... And YES it's in the sticks - with beautiful views - and the travel time from home to work is "minimal".

Greg - How far out of town are they? How far do the employees have to commute to work? I always wanted a big shop out in the sticks. Have a Guest house for customers and and Go kart for Saturday night show downs.

Someday......

End of June might be a good time to visit. They have a campout and swap - plus they do an open house in the shops. And a BBQ cookoff too !!! Yum !

Rodger -- I live about 50 minutes from their shop... it would be closer but, of course, it's out on 2 lane roads and you can't just clip out there at 75... They're like 40 miles from me.

Nick lives probably a 35 minute drive.... I don't know where the other guys live.

Neither of these drives (mine or Nicks) to their shop would be the kind of nasty stop and go urban traffic that we all hate. It's back roads, and secondary state hiways... and it's PRETTY out that way. I can't imagine anyone complaining about getting "out of town" to go to work. Nick is young - mid 20's and gets to work with some of the best minds in the business... what's to complain about!

Timmy has 25 acres - horses - few neighbors - and a beautiful place... He only works on stuff he wants to do - and has a waiting list to get a car built by them. What a life.

The guy next door has built a few cars in his garage in the last 25 years. The welding on the cars are a work off art, and with the speed they do, you need a good fabricator/ welder.
