I'd like to know the aerodynamic specs. It might be the only first gen to not produce front lift.

Maybe the only '68 not to produce front lift...

Bob Johnson's Cuda sold for what a half mil. I don't think that its seen much track time, last I heard it broke an axle.

Beautiful, beautiful car. But it seems like it more of a work of art than a vehicle that's shown performance against other vehicles.

 started that discussion in another thread - actual engineering is a bit lost on some to understand design v. weight, they just think size v. stiffness and 2" round bar is not as good as 2x2 box... yeah, if you're working for Massey-Ferguson then have at it.

It's okay tho', just means we'll be lighter and faster than the competition  If everyone were smart as hell there would be no fast food servers, and I loves me some burgers and fries on my way home from work.

As for much of the "real" race cars that use square tube, you have to consider the size of the tubing, the location in the vehicle, and why they are using that shape for ease of use with other components... there is a time/place when square tube is fine of course and can be much easier to work with. Look at the new C6Rs for instance and where there is round bar and where there is square.

As to the car starting this thread, there are some ideas I can see he has incorporated that I have planned to use on my next venture with a 70 Mustang and I am sorta surprised to see I was a bit beat to the punch but nonetheless I think this car is pretty cool, especially some of the work with the front uprights and overall adjust-ability that often gets overlooked.

Simmer down, It's just my opinion. Jeez, I guess no one around here is ever allowed to make a comment that doesn't follow the status quo. And I said nothing about the build quality of the rest of the build, so please do not put words in my mouth. I commented on one single thing.

And to your other point, what has what I built or NOT built have to do with just giving an opinion on something someone else posts on the internet? And I suppose he posted his car to get some opinions, and quite possibly knowing that not everything he did is what everyone else would like. We are all supposed to be grown up, and taking some nobody's critque should be easy.

I believe the problem might not be in the fact that you gave your opinion, but rather in the way that you gave it. There is a very large difference between saying someone's wife looks like a bucket of ugly thrown on a pile of fat, and saying that she isn't your type.

Happy New Year!

I removed my post in order to keep this thread on track. But thank you for your input.
